XLIDE provides a modern VS Code workspace for Microsoft Office VBA projects, allowing direct read and write access to VBA files without needing COM. Add macro-enabled Office files to a VS Code project, and XLIDE will automatically detect them, including file types such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc.

XLIDE brings an engineering workflow to existing VBA files through project scope symbol navigation, renaming and reference tools, seven types of refactoring, user form designer, static analysis, real-time diagnostics, and other functions.
