What is thinkrail?
ThinkRail is a lightweight, real IDE based on pi, which can be customized according to the user's working style, providing the required Vibe. By using living specs, ThinkRail is able to learn the project and build its own capabilities in the future.
ThinkRail has built a rich interface around the pi coding agent, isolating work into separate workspaces and endowing the agent with persistent project knowledge through living specs and reusable skills. Next, ThinkRail will add full extension support, enabling it to create the tools needed according to how users actually work.
Key features
Isolated workspaces: Any git repository can be opened as a project, and workspaces can be carved out from it as git working trees. Each workspace has its own branch and working directory.
Real IDE: A splittable workbench built around the agent, including Monaco editor tabs, a file tree and changes view with real-time git change markers, terminal, and documentation, all confined within the active workspace.
