What is parallel-code?
Parallel Code is an open-source tool designed to allow users to run multiple AI coding agents in parallel, with each agent running in its own git worktree, thus achieving isolation and management of code changes. It supports various AI coding agents, such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Copilot, etc., and provides a unified interface to manage the operation of these agents and code changes.
This tool creates independent git branches and worktrees, isolating changes made by each agent while providing built-in code review functionality, including inline comments, guided walkthroughs of changes, and optional second opinion reviews. Users can run the tool locally, without the need for additional servers or subscriptions, and it supports macOS and Linux systems.
