What is medusa?
Medusa is an open-source e-commerce platform with a built-in customization framework. It allows developers to build B2B or DTC stores, marketplaces, distribution platforms, POS systems, and other applications without reinventing core e-commerce logic, such as products, shopping carts, orders, and payments.
Medusa can be quickly launched through Medusa Cloud, which is a managed environment that provides automatic deployment, scaling, and maintenance. Additionally, developers can also create Medusa applications locally, requiring Node.js v22.22.0 or higher and a running PostgreSQL database.
