What is ltspice-mcp?
ltspice-mcp is an MCP server that enables LLMs to design, simulate, and analyze SPICE circuits using LTSpice and NGspice. The server reads the simulator's output files and returns measurements such as cutoff frequency, overshoot, phase margin, rise time, etc.
ltspice-mcp is built based on spicelib, and is able to read and write LTSpice's .asc schematic files. It supports multiple MCP clients, such as Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, etc., and requires Python 3.11 or higher version.
