What is HilbertRaum?
HilbertRaum is a fully locally operated AI workspace that can run offline on your computer. You can chat with the local AI, ask questions about private documents and offline Wikipedia, and keep everything on your own computer. There is no cloud fallback, web search, or telemetry. Your prompts, documents, embeddings, and chat history are stored in local storage.
This workspace is encrypted and portable. Applications, models, and data can be stored on a hard drive or USB drive, allowing you to move the entire setup between different machines. HilbertRaum is open source, designed to run on a wide range of hardware, from systems with only a CPU to single GPU and unified memory machines.
Key features
Local model: Select from a curated open-source model catalog using the llama.cpp runtime and GGUF model.
Document Q&A: Import PDF, Word files or text, ask questions and get answers based on the file, retrieve using vector and keyword search.
