What is datadog-saist?

This project is an AI-native SAST tool, unlike traditional SAST tools, it does not rely solely on parsing and analysis rules, but instead uses large language models (LLMs) to detect vulnerabilities. The tool can be used independently on your laptop, or as part of Datadog Code Security.

The project is currently in the development phase and in the preview stage. It uses advanced AI models to detect security vulnerabilities, supports multiple programming languages, and generates industry-standard SARIF reports.

Key features

  • AI-driven analysis: Using advanced AI models to detect security vulnerabilities.

  • Multilingual support: Supports Go, Java, Python, C#, C++, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin, PHP, Ruby, Rust, Elixir, and Swift, among other programming languages.
