What is TraeWork?
TraeWork organizes AI collaboration through a task-based workbench. Users can start with areas such as app development, project understanding, game ideation, or tool scripting; they describe their goals in the input field and refine requirements using context, commands, and skills. When needed, they can select a repository or working directory, ensuring tasks are centered around specific projects.
The public interface includes navigation links for the task list, plugin marketplace, automation, template library, and My Products, and provides a desktop access point. After logging in, you can use features such as file and image uploads, themes, and integrations according to the on-screen instructions; specific file operations, repository functions, and cloud-based task capabilities are subject to the permissions granted by your current account and the configuration of your working environment.
TRAE manages dialogue and task usage based on credits, with consumption influenced by the model, task type, complexity, and context length. For development tasks, it is advisable to clearly define the scope of permissible modifications, the runtime environment, and the acceptance criteria; upon completion, verify the code, dependencies, data permissions, and actual test results. Templates or automated entry points alone do not guarantee that the task has been executed correctly.
