What is Stitch?
Stitch combines natural language requirements with project context to create, refine, and collaboratively explore high-fidelity interfaces. Its AI-native canvas accepts images, text, or code as backgrounds, enabling designs to evolve iteratively around business goals and user experience.
Google’s current documentation includes real-time visualization of the design process, guidance on making changes before completion, and the use of Agents to manage multiple ideas. The design system can also propagate rules across projects and other tools via DESIGN.md, helping to maintain consistent styling across different pages.
Once the design is ready, the official workflow allows you to share it via Google AI Studio, hand it over to Google Antigravity to continue connecting business logic, or deploy it through Netlify. The interface generation and the production business system still require separate reviews, especially regarding the backend, permissions, data, and actual interactions.
