What is Ponder AI?
Ponder can retrieve academic materials and attach PDFs, DOIs, documents, presentations, audio–video files, or links; it can also import references from Zotero. Within a project, you can organize your research using lists of papers, mind maps, documents, and slides. The Agent can assist with searching, reading, and editing, and users can review key operations.
Citations can be traced back to their sources and formatted accordingly, and documents can be exported as Markdown or PDF. The official website distinguishes between materials available in full text and those limited to abstracts or links, clearly indicating the scope of coverage; users should verify both the original text and the citations, and must not treat search results or AI-generated summaries as evidence that they have read the full text. Version history allows users to review and restore previous edits.
