What is Day of AI?

Day of AI offers AI literacy education for schools and families, focusing on understanding how AI leverages data and patterns, reflecting on the impact of technology on daily life, and using and creating AI responsibly. The program is supported by MIT RAISE and developed in collaboration with AI education researchers.

Course resources can be filtered by age or grade, category, resource type, and duration, offering everything from individual lessons to short lesson sequences, units, and more comprehensive curricula. The public catalog includes unplugged learning activities for younger students, data-related topics, and AI governance engagement activities designed for middle schoolers.

Teachers can select resources based on the instructional planning guide and organize their lessons by referring to teacher training materials, recorded courses, and home‑learning resources. It provides teaching materials and learning activities, but it is not an automated tool for generating course assessments on behalf of teachers.
