What is Elements of AI?

Elements of AI is designed for a broad audience seeking to build a foundational understanding of artificial intelligence, and was co-created by MinnaLearn and the University of Helsinki. The course description sets learning objectives that include understanding what AI is, identifying which tasks are suitable for AI, and learning how to begin engaging with AI methods.

Its instruction combines theoretical content with practical exercises, allowing learners to progress at their own pace. The introductory module does not require prior programming experience or advanced mathematical knowledge, making it an ideal starting point for non-technical learners new to the field of artificial intelligence.

When selecting courses, you can first read the course descriptions and exercise requirements, then proceed with step-by-step learning by chapter. The prerequisite conditions for the introductory level do not mean that every subsequent course is free of technical requirements; nor does completing the course guarantee access to enterprise deployment tools or automatic execution of real-world business tasks.
