What is Khroma?
Khroma generates color combinations based on the colors users prefer. After selecting a set of colors, the browser’s algorithm learns these preferences, helping to reduce undesirable hues and discover new pairings—ideal for repeated comparisons when defining a visual direction.
The same color palette can be viewed as text, gradients, palettes, or custom images. Search filters allow you to sort by hue, tone, lightness, and color, as well as by HEX and RGB values, seamlessly connecting inspiration discovery with the lookup of existing brand colors.
Users can save their favorite color combinations and view the color names, HEX codes, RGB values, CSS code, as well as the WCAG accessibility rating for each pair of colors. Contrast information is used to evaluate specific color pairings; however, the final page should still be verified in conjunction with the actual fonts, backgrounds, and states.
