What is Magic Eraser?
Magic Eraser allows users to upload an image, select the areas they wish to remove, and then generate a completed result. The official website recommends covering both the object and its shadow at once, processing multiple regions one after another, and erasing elongated objects in segments to enable step-by-step inspection and adjustments.
Currently, the upload control supports JPG, PNG, AVIF, and WebP; the official website also states that it supports other major image formats. AI–based completion generates a speculative background and does not guarantee restoration of the original information that has been obscured, so you should verify whether textures, straight lines, and the areas surrounding the subject appear natural.
The official website explicitly states that the service is free, requires no registration, and has no limit on usage; however, downloaded images are capped at 600 pixels and bear the Magic Studio watermark. The corresponding paid plans offer output with a maximum long side of 2,000 pixels; any size exceeding this will be downsampled. Each batch is limited to 50 images under the paid plans, and further scaling up to 4,096 pixels requires the use of an image enlargement tool.
